Our experience was terrific. We had a medium sized job: replace the 90 year old iron sewer connection out rom back of home, down the driveway and out to the property line, and add a BBQ island (sink, garbage disposal, gas appliances) in the back yard. All together about 150' of sewer plus venting for the BBQ island, and water, gas to the BBQ. All work was done with permits. The quote included connection to the sewer under the home (not just at the exterior foundation where other quotes specified). Communication was excellent. They arrived when they said they would. Both the principals and the workers are very good people. Work went quickly when not waiting on inspections (schedule inspections early!). I judge a firm by how they handle problems. In this case, the rough plumbing inspector gave the OK for a certain island venting technique. The different final inspector said it must be changed, and Gomez plumbing just fixed it promptly, all within the original quote. Of course we waited for a second final inspection before getting the project closed (schedule early!) Gomez is now our go-to plumber.

Expert Bathroom Fixture Replacement in San Jose And Surrounding Areas, CA
Bathroom fixture replacement covers toilets, faucets, showerheads, sink basins, and drain assemblies. At Gomez Sewer and Drain, we handle these replacements for homeowners across San Jose, Campbell, Los Gatos, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale. Many homes in Santa Clara County were built between the 1950s and 1980s. Fixtures in these homes are often original or only partially updated. Worn seals, corroded valves, and aging drain connections are common findings. Hard water throughout the region also speeds up mineral buildup inside faucets and showerheads, reducing flow and shortening fixture life. We assess the existing supply lines and drain connections before any fixture goes in. That step catches hidden issues early and keeps the new fixture working correctly. If you have a leaking faucet, a toilet that runs constantly, or a showerhead with weak pressure, call us. We serve all six service areas and can walk you through your options before any work begins.

Yes, we inspect supply lines and drain connections before installing any new fixture. This is especially important in older Palo Alto and Los Gatos homes where original supply lines may be near the end of their service life.
Low pressure at a single showerhead is often a fixture issue caused by mineral buildup or a worn internal component. We can assess it at your Santa Clara or Sunnyvale home and confirm whether a fixture swap will resolve it.
